Environmental Protection System

Environmental Protection System

The Environmental Protection system maintains thermal stability and protects the body from exposure to heat, cold, wind, and precipitation. When it is functioning, the body operates within a manageable range. When it weakens, physiological strain develops quickly and begins to affect movement, hydration, and decision-making.

Environmental strain does not begin when conditions become extreme. It develops through exposure over time, often before discomfort is recognised. Once established, it becomes difficult to reverse without significant intervention.

In this system, you will learn how environmental exposure builds, how protection systems fail under real conditions, and how early action determines whether exposure remains manageable.
